Eat that Frog with a Pomodoro
The goal of this activity is to overcome procrastination by using the Pomodoro technique. Procrastination is delaying any task until the last minute of the deadline.
To beat procrastination I used the Pomodoro technique. I had a task in which I completed my assignment. First of all, I set Set the Pomodoro timer (alarm) to 25 minutes and started my work. Before starting I turned off all notifications to avoid disturbance. I continued my assignment until the alarm rang, and after 5 minutes started again the same process. I repeated the same steps 4 times, after that, I was at the ending of my assignment. I took a break and completed my work. During the task, I thought to check my WhatsApp as I often do during my work but I didn’t check this time.
By using the Pomodoro technique I completed my assignment in less time, and it was a happy moment for me. From today I will use this technique to complete my different tasks.
